TV - If you’re a big comedy fan, then watch The Office. This is a “mockumentary” of how an office runs, but it’s more like a comedy show. Starring Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, and Rainn Wilson, this show is one of the best shows you can watch.

Doctors have very tight schedules, and are constantly busy…but there’s enough time for drama in Grey’s Anatomy. This show has romance, drama, and the occasional craniotomy. Big fans of House or Scrubs will love to watch Grey’s Anatomy.

Like singing, dancing, humor, and drama? Then watch Glee! Glee is a show set in McKinley High School. All the social misfits try to find solace in the school’s glee club, New Directions. With each of the characters going through some sort of struggle, a lot of teens will be able to relate to this show, and have a good laugh.

Music- Some new music to listen to if you’re bored: Try these bands to see if you like them: Rusted Axle and the Gingers; The Weepies; Neutral Milk Hotel; Hellohihey, and Tegan and Sara.

This book will keep you guessing, and will leave you with the intense urge to go buy the next book in the series)

-Thirteen Reasons Why-Jay Asher (young adult fiction; Hannah Baker a popular girl at Clay Jensen’s school, has committed suicide. No one knows why, but thirteen people will receive Hannah’s tapes. These thirteen people are the reason why Hannah has committed suicide. This book is mysterious, haunting, and one you won’t soon forget.)

-The Last Song-Nicholas Sparks (young adult fiction; Ronnie Miller has been estranged from her father for three years, since he left his family. But in the summer, she is forced to visit him along with her brother. Ronnie’s attitude at first is really bitter and angry, but as the summer continues, she finds first love and life changing news)

Maximum Ride Series
This series is a must read. Suspense, friendship, love, and adventure are all included in this series. The author James Patterson has written a lot of books, but this is his best work yet! He is one of my favorite authors because he is fluent and detailed with everything. I love this series and I know many readers will too.

Thirst
This series is a great series. Suspense, love, and mystery are all included in the Thirst series. Once I started reading I could not stop reading the first Thirst book but then I wanted to read the second book in the series. There are only 2 books in this series. Any reader who likes vampires then this is a must read for you.

Cirque Du Freak
Darren Shan my favorite author included suspense, mystery, horror, love, and adventure. This book is filled with vampires and other freaks including a snake boy! Darren Shan is detailed and once you start reading his books its like a movie everything happens in front of you.

Pretty Little Liars
These series is really intense and suspenseful; there are many twists and turns in this book. In these series a girl just disappears and later is found dead, but there is a secret that all of them know that they won’t speak about, so this book just shows what goes on with these girls. But the suspense starts when all these girls start getting message from the girl who disappeared and later died. This is a great series filled with twists.
