Stress Less for Teens
Sign up for a new two program series on how to reduce stress and help improve mood. In January we will focus on ways use mindful practice and self-care to reduce stress. For February, we will focus on creative outlets to help improve mood and increase happiness. Ages 13-18. Registration is recommended.

An Afternoon with Edgar Allan Poe

African American History Month Celebration
This will be a drop-in informal gathering to celebrate the kick-off of African American History Month. There will be a cooking demonstration from the book, The Cooking Gene by Michael Twitty.

African-American History Read-In
The National African American Read-In is the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. During the month of February, read publications of African-American writers of your choice. On February 26th, come to the library and read your favorite selection from your reading. Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn to crochet? Come join us for an evening of creativity! We’ll provide knitting needles, crochet hooks and yarn to use for the evening. Or bring your own. Ages 10 - 18.
